* Spine Classifications and Severity Measures
(By: Jens R Chapman, Joseph R Dettori, Daniel C Norvell)
Care of spinal conditions has become increasingly complex and confusing. Classification systems can help in understanding the subject matter at hand, but have exploded in numbers and complexity. Attempts at extracting classifications of spinal disorders are cumbersome and require careful study of numerous reference books without achieving a comprehensive overview in the end. This one of a kind reference text summarizes over 185 spine classification or severity measures with standardized art work, provides ratings and critical evaluations of pertinent strengths and weaknesses in a concise and systematic fashion. (Release date: Feb 19th 2009)
* Spine Outcomes Measures and Instruments
(By: Jens R Chapman, Beate P Hanson, Joseph R Dettori, Daniel C Norvell)
Outcomes instruments that attempt to assess the function and quality of life in patients suffering from various spine conditions are on the increase. This book sets out to evaluate and summarize over 100 outcomes instruments for the spine and its associated diseases. (Release date: Mar 9th 2007)
